Having recently closed two funding rounds simultaneously, one through Crowdfunding and a second via corporate Venture Capital. William is a serial entrepreneur whose career has seen him on BBC’s Dragons Den and his last startup acquired by Secret Escapes in 2015. His previous start-up MyCityVenue reached over 1.6 million users in less than 3 years and become one of Uber’s biggest UK partners before its acquisition.

Following a long time passion in robotics, William went back to study Artificial Intelligence and Robotics in 2015. In 2016 he founded Academy of Robotics which is currently developing Kar-go, a driverless car able to autonomously deliver multiple pack-ages with no human aid, thus reducing the cost of last mile delivery by up to 90%. The company is going for a highly competitive space and is competing with companies such as Google, Uber and Tesla.
